The securabike range has been developed over many years and after consultation with various bicycle authorities, state and local governments and bicycle users.

The range provides for both temporary and permanent parking alternatives and includes individual or multiple storage rails, racks, lockers and cages for all security class levels in accordance with Australian Standard AS2890.3-1993.

Galvanised mild steel - Tough and durable galvanised mild steel pipe is normally used in the manufacture of bicycle rails and racks. Bicycle cages and lockers are assembled using quality corrosion-resistant materials and components. Leda utilise their own powder coating plant to ensure a consistent, high quality finish to all of its products. All components are thoroughly cleaned, alkaline de-greased and chromate rinsed prior to being epoxy primed.

A coating of 75 to 100 microns of polyester powder is applied electrostatically and oven-cured to produce a hard, duarbel finish. Two pack polyurethane finishes can also be accomodated if specified.

Stainless steel - Securabike stainless steel products are normoally supplied in grade 304 (Schedule 10) although grade 316 is available on request. Stainlkess steel provides an attractive, durable, low maintenance and corrosive-resistant product. Stainles steel products are normally polished to a level 4 linished finish, however, higher levels upto mirror finish are available to specification.
